UNVEILING OF PLAQUES IN HONOUR OF THE LATE JOSEPH HOWARD AND PAUL ASCIAK
The Council of the Malta Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce named two rooms in honour of Joseph Howard and Paul Asciak respectively. The Council Room was named after Joseph Howard, who served as President of the Society in various periods between 1919 and 1921 before becoming the first Prime Minister of Malta. The Hall was named after Paul Asciak, who served as President of the Society for two terms between 2002 and 2008. The Minister of Education, Culture, Youth and Sport, Dolores Cristina,was at Palazzo de La Salle to unveil plaques in these two rooms.
