Funds raised by the Malta Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce in aid of the Special Projects Programme

Villa Arrigo in Naxxar was an ideal setting for the Malta Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce Annual Fund Raising Dinner. 153 guests attended enjoying a sumptuous meal and the enjoyable evening ended with the holding of the customary raffle with many prizes donated by various sponsors. Mr Joseph J. Mifsud, President of the Society thanked all those present and the sponsors for their help to raise the necessary funds. The Council of the Society organizes this annual event in aid of the Special Projects Programme, an initiative of the Council to help talented art, crafts and music students. Last year 22 students were awarded a 3-month scholarship under this Programme. This year 22 students will be receiving a similar scholarship.

L-153 persuna li attendew gawdew minn ikla tajba u atmosfera sabiha li kienet tinkludi wkoll is-solitu lotterija biex jintrebhu hafna rigali sbieh offruti mill-isponsors. Il-President tas-Socjeta’, is-Sur Joseph J. Mifsud, irringrazzja lil dawk li attendew u l-isponsors biex setghu jingabru l-fondi necessarji. Il-Kunsill tas-Socjeta’ jorganizza dan l-avveniment annwali sabiex jigbor fondi ghall-iSpecial Projects Programme, inizjattiva tal-istess Kunsill sabiex studenti b’talent li jattendu l-korsjiet tal-arti, crafts u muzika mill-istess Socjeta’ jinghataw 3 xhur skolarxip. Is-sena li ghaddiet 22 student inghataw skoralrxip taht dan il-programm u din is-sena 22 ohra se jinghataw skolarxip iehor.
