A course in Soft Furnishing, Cottage Crafts and Tailoring. The Soft Furnishing Course will concentrate mainly on curtain making. The course will consist of both theory and practice and will cover about 100 valances and pelmets in different styles and will vary from classic to rustic, modern or cottage. Participants will learn how to draw up the patterns themselves and will also learn how much material is needed and what measurements would be required. Participants do not need to know how to sew.
The Cottage Craft Course consists in learning how to decorate various items such as frames, jewel boxes, baskets and other items for particular occasions such as Christmas, Weddings and Easter.
The Tailoring consists in learning how to draft skirts, blouses, trousers and entire suits patterns by means of a tailored square.
